World number one Nelly Korda won her first US Women's Open title, pipping England's Charley Hull to victory by a single shot.
American Korda made a crucial birdie on the 17th hole as she posted a two-under-par 69 to finish eight under at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.
It is the fourth major win of the 27-year-old's career and her second consecutive victory of the season, having reclaimed the Chevron Championship title in April.
Hull, who was seven strokes behind at the halfway mark, followed her third-round 65 with a four-under-par 67 in the fourth to equal the lowest 36-hole total in US Women's Open history, but finished seven under.
She has now placed as runner-up at a major five times in her career: four times since the start of 2023 and twice in her past three tournaments.
Hull was tied alongside Mexico's Gaby Lopez in second, with South Korea's In-Gee Chun a shot further back and Sei-Young Kim - level with Korda at the top of the leaderboard after three rounds - five under.
