As the batteryโ€™s temperature rises during charging, the battery management system reduces the current accepted by the phone, protecting it from overheating and chemical degradation.

This thermal ceiling in portable power devices is increasingly relevant as smartphones and other gadgets become central to daily life. With the rise of high-capacity batteries and rapid charging technologies, manufacturers face the challenge of balancing performance with safety.
