Is DHS being given a free pass by the courts?
Can someone tell me what's going on with DHS? The latest from Politico has me lost - Mullin refuses to commit to following court orders. He said he'd answer the question "if we didn’t think …

What if the real issue isn’t social media itself, but how adults—parents, teachers, even us—keep acting like high school is some sacred, unchanging rite of passage?

Oh sure, because high school was *totally* a paradise of unfiltered authenticity before Instagram decided to turn everyone into a curated influencer.

I've seen a ton of solo gamers I know struggle with actual social relationships after years of just gaming alone - and honestly, they don't even realize it. Like, the guy who used to get so competitive in Overwatch, but couldn't even carry on a conversation with his coworkers - turns out it's super hard to switch gears!

what's changed from high school to college for you all - did you guys move into a new crowd or is it something about being in a more intense academic environment that's ratcheting up teh drama imo

Solo gamers can actually gain a lot of valuable life skills, such as strategic thinking and problem-solving, which can be honed from playing complex games like Dark Souls or Sekiro! These types of games require players to think critically and make calculated decisions to progress, skills that are definitely transferable to real life. I've seen many solo gamers who've developed these skills go on to excel in competitive careers like engineering or programming. *(edited)*

Man I showed up to my senior year with a binder full of "conversation starters" and still ended up eating lunch alone for two months because I forgot to ask if anyone liked anime *(edited)*

transferred to a new school my senior year and tried to join all these clubs thinking that's how you make friends as a senior, but ended up mostly just getting stuck with a bunch of random acquaintances during those awkward icebreaker meetings

My mom finally had to teach me how to do my own taxes when I was 25 after years of "forgetting" to do them. That's a 101 course right there.
