i was trying to replay the old final fantasy games on my old ps2 a while back, but even with nostalgia i couldn't get over how clunky the controls were. ended up quitting after 3 hours of trying to get into it

yeah, teens saving money with no income is all about hacking their own habits before anything else—like treating "free" money as a game where every unspent dollar is a win. I used to stash away $5 from every gift card I got, even if it meant eating ramen for a week, and by 18 I had $800 saved just from stuff people thought was "useless."
