Free Parametric Part Generator for 3D Printing
Many printed parts are just plain hardware: a standoff to lift a circuit board, a spacer, a washer, an L-bracket, a mounting plate with a grid of screw holes. This generator builds each from the dimensions you type — outer and inner diameters, lengths, thickness, hole sizes and counts, spacing — using solid-modelling operations (boolean unions and cuts) and exports closed, manifold meshes that slice cleanly.
L-brackets have independent leg lengths, width, thickness, hole sizes and hole counts on each leg, plus an optional corner gusset; standoffs come round or hexagonal with a through-hole; mounting plates have rounded corners and a hole grid. The preview shows the model with size, volume and filament weight, and downloads as STL or 3MF.

Worked example
Example
A hex standoff 6 mm across flats with a 3.2 mm hole and 12 mm long is about 0.28 cm³ (0.34 g of solid PLA); a 40 × 30 mm L-bracket 20 mm wide and 3 mm thick with two 4.2 mm holes in the base and one in the upright is a single watertight solid.

Tips for the best results
- Add 0.2 mm to screw holes for printed parts.
- Print brackets with layers parallel to the bend direction for strength.
- Use at least 3–4 perimeters for load-bearing brackets.
- Hex standoffs are easier to tighten than round ones.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Making holes the exact screw diameter and finding the screw will not fit.
- Printing a bracket with layer lines across the bend.
- Using too thin a leg for the load.

It is 100% free, needs no signup and has no watermark or usage limits. The tool runs in your browser, so what you type stays on your device, and it works on phones, tablets and desktops. New tools are added every week — bookmark this page or browse the full QuickFix toolbox.
Frequently asked questions
Are the meshes watertight?
Yes — boolean results are healed to a closed manifold mesh.
Can I make other shapes?
This tool covers these five; the SVG extruder and 3D text tools cover custom outlines.
What units are used?
Millimetres.
Is it private?
Yes, everything runs in your browser.
